Screen Time

It is possible that you are finding your children are watching TV or using other electronic devices more than usual. Many families are trying to figure this out so you are not alone. Here are some general guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics to think about:

  • If possible, sit with your child and watch together sometimes

  • Check out educational programs and options for extra screen time

  • Encourage connecting with other safe friends and adults

  • Try virtual play dates

  • Limits are still important – screen time should not get in the way of regular bed time, meals, physical activity, and time for connecting with family.
