Tasa Leikvoll, LMFT

Tasa is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who earned her Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary’s University in Minneapolis. Among other responsibilities, Tasa facilitates the Perinatal Outpatient Program (POP). She recognizes the incredible power of group therapy, particularly in supporting mothers who are feeling alone or isolated in their symptoms or feelings about themselves as a parent. In addition to group therapy Tasa specializes in individual, family and couples therapy. Within the clinical sessions she utilizes a holistic approach, seeing patients within the context of their families, histories and communities. She utilizes a grounding, trauma-informed approach, emphasizing Internal Family Systems, strengths-based and narrative therapies. She’s trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). In addition, Tasa provides clinical supervision for Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors.
