Josephine Abate, MA

Josephine Abate is a research coordinator in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Minnesota and the Redleaf Center for Family Healing. She graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2018 with a Masters degree in Clinical-Counseling Psychology. Josephine coordinates a collaborative research study between the University of Minnesota, Department of Psychiatry and the Hennepin Healthcare Mother-Baby Program, which assesses if measurement-based care is helpful to pregnant women and mothers. Her research interests include suicidality among adolescents and young adults, and mental health stigma among refugee populations.
